Jeffrey Breault is a huge fan of the Wichita State Shockers, the official basketball team of Wichita State. The team has a long history that stretches far back to the beginning of the 20th century. The team’s first game happened in 1906, back when they were known as the “Wheatshockers” and Wichita State was still known as Fairmont College. At this inaugural season, the Wheatshockers won just two games. Less than 20 years later, the tea, completed the season with a record of 13 – 1, putting them at second place after Pittsburg State University and acclaim even outside Wichita. Under the leadership of Coach Ralph Miller, who arrived in 1951, the team gained greater success, including multiple school records set by players like Cleo Littleton and Dave “The Rave” Stallworth.
